| JKM is a contract manufacturer of sophisticated and highly reliable
electronic and electro-mechanical hardware. Although JKM has the capability of
assembling circuit card assemblies, backwired panels, and other electro-mechanical
assemblies, JKM's primary focus is in the area of interconnects, specializing in molded,
braided, precision ribbon, coaxial, round-wire, and fiber optic cable and harness
assemblies.
Products produced by JKM range from the very complex to the very simple, and include
commercial as well as flight-worthy defense-related applications. JKM's attention to
detail and a high regard for quality and reliability are influenced by a well-documented
quality control system supporting both military and ISO 9001-2000 requirements.
JKM was formed in April 1997. It is the result of a management acquisition of
what was Hughes Missile Electronics, Inc., founded in 1982 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Hughes Aircraft Company. As a Hughes company, the workforce, management, tooling and
equipment were developed to produce sophisticated flight-ready defense hardware which was
designed and developed by Hughes.
JKM still has this capability. However, today JKM provides services
directly to commercial, aerospace, and military customers.
