JKM CEO Chad White Enlists Former Business Associate Stuart McGillivray as CFO of JKM Manufacturing
EUFAULA, AL (Nov. 4, 2009) – CEO Chad B. White announced today that his former business colleague Stuart A. McGillivray has been named chief financial officer of JKM Manufacturing, Inc., a trusted leader in making precision and sophisticated products for the defense, communications and aerospace industries.
“Stuart McGillivray’s keen business skills and experience as a CFO and a corporate manager of accounting and financial systems will help JKM serve our customers and advance their mission,” said JKM CEO Chad B. White. “Stuart and I go way back and I’m thrilled to be partnering again with such a strong, reliable and thorough professional.”
Previously, McGillivray was the CFO at a company in St. Petersburg, FL, where White was engaged to create market traction for a new technology and then successfully sell the technology to a Fortune 500 company.
McGillivray brings to JKM a strong background in financial systems development, acquisitions and divestitures, financial management, and SEC reporting and compliance.
“Stuart will be a tremendous resource in assisting me with strategies at JKM. Our skill sets mesh very well, and we complement each other’s strengths,” White said. “We work very well together in resolving challenges and developing opportunities. Our experience in working together will be a huge benefit for JKM.”
McGillivray has a decade of experience with the Big Four accounting firms in the audit and consulting divisions. He has worked in a variety of industries, specializing in manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, insurance and construction/contractors.

Before joining JKM, McGillivray was an audit manager at a central Florida public accounting firm. Previously, he served as CFO of new technology ventures in manufacturing and telecommunications. Before starting his company, Lewis & McGillivray Inc., which provided accounting and financial services to construction contractors and manufacturing entities in the oil and gas service industry and others, he was a senior manager at KPMG LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
His background as a consultant and manager includes creating accounting and finance systems for companies, such as budgeting and cash forecasting systems, internal and external reporting mechanisms, and internal systems of internal control. “Stuart brings a wealth of experience in a wide variety of industries and we’re thrilled to have him on board,” said White.
McGillivray has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
