JKM Manufacturing Names Sherry Sellers Contracts Manager and Danielle Alexander Executive Administrative Assistant
EUFAULA, AL (Sept. 3, 2010) – Chad B. White, CEO of JKM Manufacturing, Inc., announced today two new appointments at JKM, naming Sherry Sellers as contracts manager and Danielle E. Alexander as executive administrative assistant to the CEO.
"All of us at JKM look forward to working with Ms. Sellers and Ms. Alexander as JKM continues to grow and expand its reach in the U.S.," said White. "It's an exciting time to be at JKM. We're a company that is growing in Alabama and nationwide."
Sellers is no stranger to JKM. She has worked at JKM since 1996 – during which she took a 5-year leave to run her own business - and has a bachelor's of science degree in business/marketing from Troy University in Troy, AL. She will oversee contracts management for the company. Sellers previously held the position of procurement manager at JKM. She also has worked in various other departments during her tenure there, including administration, information systems, accounting and human resources.
In her new role, Sellers will be responsible for the relationships and contracts between the company and its customers. Her duties will include developing, submitting and negotiating proposals and contracts in response to customer requests; managing the competitive bidding and selection process; participating in project management after receipt of an order; and facilitating problem resolution. She will also continue to work on various special projects assigned in her most recent position as material analyst.
"I believe in JKM's future and I'm glad to have an opportunity to participate in JKM's growth," said Sellers. "I'm looking forward to working directly with JKM's customers and assisting with the development of a larger customer base for JKM. I believe this will allow for the company's overall growth, as well as create the potential for new jobs in Eufaula and the state of Alabama."
Alexander, who previously worked as an office administrator in Tampa, Fl and attended Keiser University in Lakeland, Fl, will report directly to the CEO.
"It's truly been a blessing to work for a company such as JKM," said Alexander. "The entire staff has welcomed me with open arms. It also gives me great satisfaction to work for a company that offers support to the men and women fighting overseas."
Recently, JKM reported a 15% growth in overall employees at JKM. JKM builds products on 23 major platforms, such as guided missiles, military aircraft, flight simulators, helicopters, tanks, industrial robots and sonar test equipment.
Known for its manufacturing of complex wire harness assemblies, rugged electronic systems, circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies, JKM produces a variety of interconnects.
